The new exhibition by Maia Stefana Oprea, explores the theme of the forest and maternity, conceived as an installation in which large format paintings, in oil on canvas and mixed technique are intersected with the mysterious presence of cocoons woven from metal scraps and recycled fragments from previous works. Thought and produced with the curatorial participation of Raluca Băloiu, LOCUS NEMINIS II is the young artist’s second solo show at AnnArt, after Stacking, in 2016. The exhibition was opened on June 5, with critic Ion Bogdan Lefter as special guest, and will be open until the 28th July 2018.
